PUNTONE

MY ADVICE

CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA
The most famous kite and surf spot in the Maremma is the Kite Beach Fiumara, short KFB, south of Castiglione della Pescaia. Both beginners and professionals feel at home here. The instructors are all very experienced and travel to the best surf spots worldwide in the winter months. So there is always a lot to talk about. In addition to kite and windsurfing courses, you can also learn to sail.
MY ADVICE
For an aperitif at the Skipper Beach Club, this is not only the best lido in the area, but also the bar with the best aperitif and good music. Often you don’t want to leave. But that has already been thought of. On the first floor of the bar there is a restaurant with an unlimited view of the sea and the most beautiful sunsets in the Maremma.
MARINA DI GROSSETO
The KBF (Kite Beach Fiumara) winter spot is located in Marina di Grosseto, more precisely in Bagno Moreno. The spot is characterized above all by an exceptionally wide sandy beach, there is plenty of space here. In the summer months there are even courses for “surfing”. Great fun, my son was only there last week and he is thrilled.
MY ADVICE
If you are with the family in the Maremma, I can highly recommend the “Cielo Verde” (internally linked to the scheda of the accommodation on the portal). Located in the middle of the shady forest, it offers several swimming pools, restaurants and a children’s program on a large, wide area. So all needs in the family are taken care of.

TALAMONE
Further south, just before you get to the Argentario peninsula, you come to Talamone. A long bay with a fine sandy beach extends to the harbor. With these good wind conditions it can sometimes get really full. It is one of the most popular spots among kiters. At twkc you can rent equipment and take courses to get even better.
What makes the spot special is the Talamone skyline, which always accompanies you in the corner of your eye.
MY ADVICE
After an action-packed day, the best reward is a dinner in the sunset.
