My 5 most beautiful villages in Maremma

Maremma is dotted with Etruscan and Roman remains, castles and medieval villages, imposing fortresses left as evidence of almost two centuries of Spanish domination. A territory where history can be breathed and observed in every corner.

Traditions and cultures that are integrated into an architectural and landscape game where the watchwords are “harmony” and “uniqueness”.

Each village has its own architecture, its own landscapes and its typical food. My favorites are five: Magliano in Toscana, Porto Santo Stefano, Capalbio, Porto Ercole and Montemerano.
